You will get casualties if your hero is a low level. If this is the case, then simply ass a few extra archers and find the number that loses no archers.

Attack and Level 4 Valley with 400 archers

Attack any Level 3 Valley with 200 archers.

Attack and Level 2 Valley with 100 archers.

Attack and Level 1 Valley with 50 archers

Best ones are Level 1-2, due to the rare chance of any archer dying. Chances of getting medals now 1%.

Having two armies attacking each target valley is the best way to get medals quickly.
